Dear diary,
Today this man named pompallier came to our village to teach us about christianity. My parents says that we shouldn't listen is anything that they tell us, because we already have our gods to pray to. And apparently the person that the montpellier is talking about is that good anyway. Tomorrow the chef said we can have tomorrow off work so we can meet him.

Dear diary,
Today the chef said we could have the day off and meet pompallier. So that was what we did we and tried to find him but he wasn't there so we walked around a bit and looked for him but we couldn't find pompallier.
Then we finally found pompallier but it was getting dark and we had to be home by dark so we left and went home.

Dear diary,
today we had another chance of finding pompallier because the chef let us have another day off work seem that we couldn't find him yesterday so we went to were pompallier is staying and asked to see him but he said he was a bit busy at the moment why don't you come back tomorrow and we said ok, so then we went to talk to chef to see if we work the rest of today if we could have tomorrow off and the chef said yes.

It has been a few weeks since the man named pompallier came to our village, and told us about god and stuff like that and that we will go to heaven when we die and stuff like that and mother and father told us not to listen to them, and that no one likes them and people want them gone as soon as possible

I like that you are thinking outside the square. Interesting idea to come from a Maori perspective. You needed to have a little more history to help anchor your account. Perhaps just posting a link or writing directly on to your blog would be a better idea.
